Possibly his correct birthdate is 3 June 1857 in Geffen. He moved to Oss on 18 March 1887.
He was a merchant in Oss in 1909. He and his wife lived in the Jewish Old Age home in Arnhem untill their deportation. to:

On May 18, 1943 she was deported to Westerbork.
She had a retail store besides the butcher shop of Benjamin van Dijk. Resulting frrom a robbery in the store where she was hit on the head with an iron rodshe suffered the rest of her life from sedvere headaches and lost some memories.
There is also a record that she lived at home with Leonard van Dijk at Heuvel 40 in Oss..
