Married 18 Jul 1776 Amsterdam to: Rachel , birth 1738 Heemse?, died 3 Feb 1811 Amsterdam 1st marriage 2nd marriage, daughter of Israel Emanuel (Eliezer Menachem) and Annigje Rubens She appears in the 1748 Heemse census as under 10 years old (b. >1738); 1765 Will of Israel Immanuel and Annegien Rubens lists one of his daughters as Rachel. An 1809 Amsterdam list (Rachel Isra el/Rechla widow of Anshil WijschenkØ, in Mossel, Moshe, Lijst van gealimenteerde hoogduits-joodse armen te Amsterdam in 1809, Nederlandse Kring voor Joodse Genealogie, 1993, p. 55, line 18) stated that she was 75 years old (b.1733/34); Inde x of Zeeburg Burials (Van Straten, Jits, De begraafboeken van Zeeburg) stated that the widow of Asser Wijnschenk was 72 or 73 years old in February of 1811 (b.1738/39). Index of Zeeburg Burials (Op. Cit.) stated that the widow of Asser Wijnschen k was buried in Amsterdam on 3/2/1811. She was engaged in 1776 to be married in Amsterdam to Joseph Juda Meier(b.1744) but the wedding did not take place. 18/7/1776 Amsterdam Civil Marriage Proclamation (Book 749, page 159, Joseph Joda MeijerØ) stated that he was 32, from Lands burg, and was marrying Raphel EliazarØ of Hardenberg, the widow of Josep Meijer. However, the record was crossed out and a note written on it that the couple did not show up at the ceremony. Instead, she married Andries Jacob Wijnschenk .
