5) Rebecca Benjamin Cohen, birth ± 1753 Amersfoort, died 28 Aug 1811 Amsterdam, Muiderberg Cemetery Riwka (vr) Benjamin Kohen 10 elul 1811 Rebecca's age at death was given by her nephews Jonas Daniel Meijer and Abraham David Meijer as fifty-eight and a half year. This would mean she was born late 1752, early 1753. Her age at marriage in 1790 was clearly written as 22, which is imposs ible: her mother died in 1765. D.E. Cohen gives her birthyear as 1758, no source, he may have presumed her age at marriage was a clerical error and could have been 32. If her age at death was right, she would have been 37 at marriage. Her husban d 25, maybe a little older. She died at home, at the Korte Prinsengracht near the Stadstimmertuin, on 5 Dec 1811. At the time of the name adoptions this address is down as Prinsengracht at Weesperstraar 22. Benjamin Cohen owned a country house named "De Vinkenhoef", between Amersfoort and Nijkerk, where many Cohens married.
