Shne'ur Zalman Migdal, birth ? Lithuania, died ? Gedera, Israel, buried Gedera, Israel, occupation: Flour-merchant. Zalman "borrowed" the name of "Fogelman" in order to get out of Lithuania. This was done by many Jewish young men to avoid the army-draft. If a man was the only son in the family,he was not drafted. By "joining" a family of only daughters,he coul d avoid the draft.
