Was eerste officier bij de Nederlandse Koopvaardij in de tweede wereldoorlog. Van Nederlandse nationaliteit was hij gestationeerd als "First Officer" bij de Merchant Navy te New Road Waltham Basingstoke R.D. (England). Werd op 13 Jun 1947 afgevoerd van het persoonsregister van de Gemeente Rotterdam wegens vertrek naar onbekende bestemming.
