1) Judel Judah Reisel, birth 1844 Shaki, Lithuania, died 2 Aug 1922 Tiberias, Israel According to two different ships manifests ("Prinzesse Alice", fromBremen to NY in May 1907 and "Nieuw Amsterdam" from Rotterdam in Sept1917) he spelled his name Judel He came with his wife Chaje Sorah (a month after his daughter Rebecca(Jeanette Chiona Rivka )) to the US in 1907 and again in 1917 from Holland, this time alone I think that in 1907 he visited Wolf his son in Berlin before leavingEurope and in 1916 when his wife died he left for Holland to be with Wolf again,before going back in 1917. He told the immigration officer that he had lived in the US in 1907/08. I never heard that he would have been living without his wife, in Hollandfrom 1908 to 1917 so I assume he was in Holland only a year... His son Aron came to the US in 1892 according to the 1920 NY census. Pesche Malke (Later Molly Rosen Finkelstein) came in 1895 when she saidshe was 18. She arrived on the "Obdam". Rueben came in 1901(17 years) with Rachel, who had a son already 10months old, Yankel Gedalya Kaplan.(Her husband Fischel Kaplan was alreadyin the US.)
