Before the war, Nathan Walg owned a fruit- and vegetableshop in the P.C. Hooftstraat in Amsterdam. Nathan Walg and his wife Betje del Canho went into hiding during the war. Nevertheless, they were caught and via Vught and Westerbork deported to So bibor. to:

3) Mozes Walg, birth 8 Jul 1896 Amsterdam, Holland, died 16 Jan 1945 Leitmeritz, Czechoslovakia
Mozes Walg and his family were taken from their home during the raid of 20 June 1943 . The family was deported to Westerbork, Bergen-Belsen and Theresienstadt. Mozes Walg eventually died in Flossenburg. Alida Reens was murdered in Auschwitz. Thei r two children were liberated in Merzdorf and Theresienstadt respectively and survived the war.
