Philip Baer ( Feiwele ) Gomperts, son of Issachar Baer Cleve and Telse Oppenheim Moved in 1738 to Doesburg after his father had taken over the managemant of the Lombard Bank from the local municipality. Lived on corner Koepoortstraat and Hoogstraat, while an adjoining house was used as a synagogue. Take over Bank from fathe r in 1754. |
