He is buried in the Cemit?rio S?o Jo?o Batista in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in grave number 1300, section 16. The famil y paid for perpetual care, so it is assumed that the grave still exists. Married 26 Nov 1901 Amsterdam (divorced 1921) to: Henriette Rachel Jacobson, birth 30 Jan 1875 Amsterdam, daughter of Abraham Jacobson and Angelica Catz vertok naar Brussel 24-01-1912 Johannes and Henriette were married for 20 years, and they never had any children. They lived in many different places -- France, Spain, Portugal, Cuba, Indonesia, and finally the United States. In 1921 they divorced. |
