1) Maurice (Schellevis) Schellekes, birth 20 Nov 1922 Zandoort, died 3 Feb 1988 Haifa Schellevis, born in Zandvoort, Holland, 1922, was a war prisoner in Ebensee forced labor camp, near Mauthausen. After the war served as an interpreter for the American Army in Bavaria. It seems that for some time Schellevis also served as Mayo r of Riederau am Ammersee in the region of Landsberg, Bavaria. Died in Haifa in 1988. |
