Salomon Simon van der Linde, birth 22 Jan 1884 Bolsward, died 9 Jul 1943 Sobibor, occupation: Ex-veehandelaar, son of Simon van der Linde and Betje van Zuiden Salomon Simon van der Linde en zijn echtgenote hadden vier kinderen, van wie Abraham met zijn vrouw is omgekomen in de oorlog. Bernard Jos? is voor het uitbreken van de oorlog in Nederland als KNIL soldaat naar Nederlands-Indievertrokken en is doo r vijandig vuur in 1944 neergeschoten. Twee andere kinderen hebben (vermoedelijk) de oorlog overleefd. Toevoeging van een bezoeker van de website Salomon and 2 of his 4 sons & the wife of one of the sons were murdered in the Holocaust. Salomon's wife escaped the home, and his 2 year old daughter was captured but later smuggled out of the concentration camp. That little girl is my cousin. Information from his daughter, living in Amsterdam, 1995. This information is confirmed in a List of Jews murdered in Auschwitz found in Auschwitz Death Registers, The State Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau page 20000/1942. to: Saartje Cohen, birth 21 Jun 1913 Amsterdam, died 9 Apr 1943 Sobibor Saartje and her husband were murdered in the Holocaust.
