Menno Denneboom, birth 26 Jul 1922 Veendam, Holland, died 6 Oct 1989 Montreal, Quebec, Canada, death cause: Cancer of the Liver and the Pancreas, buried Dollard des Ormeaux, son of Izak Denneboom and Johanna Spier He was an electrical engeneer with Air Canada. He had 27 hiding places during the war! Once, when hiding at the home of Dominee Hugenholtz in the Krimpenerwaard together with several others, the Nazis came, some people were caught, but Menno and Ms. Simone Mogendorff managed to escape by jump ing out of a window. (source: Yitzchal Dekel-Goudeket, Israel), confirmed by the grandson of Dominee Hugenholtz.. The daily 'De Telegraaf' had an article on 21/11/1988 about the period he was in hiding during WWII.
