Just named Andries Cohen at marriage, without patronym. D.E. Cohen, in his history of the Cohen family, mentions him as son of Philip Ezechiel, but gives no details. It is likely enough though, being named after a grandfather, and naming his so n Ezechiel after his own grandfather. Both Andries and Emanuel married in 1739, they both lived in the Rapenburgerstraat. A marriage in Nijkerk, important in the tobacco culture and trade, fits in with this family. He may have worked with his unc le Isaac.
In Ashkenazi Amsterdam in the Eighteenth Century, his son Ezechiel, when engaged, is named Yecheskel ben Anshil Cohen Amesfoort.
In notarial acts concerning the heirs of Ester Italiaander Rachel Meijers is named as widow of Andries Philip Cohen (Amsterdam, Zweerts 10060 15 Nov 1762 and Geniets 13582/111 12 Feb 1763)
Population register Nijkerk 1749 (Archief Nijkerk): Andries Cohein, wife, 1 child 5-10 (children <5 were not counted), owner of one house, no business. Living in is Hendrijntje Joseph, starcher.

However, Andries or if he had died by then his children were not mentioned in documents concerning the death of Philip Ezechiel Cohen.
