Zij stopte met haar studie toen zij trouwde. Zij trouwde met een niet-Jood, wat voor veel onrust zorgde in de Joodse gemeenschap van Eindhoven. Het pas getrouwde stel vertrok naar Nede rlands Indiče op 25 februari 1920, waar de man werkzaam was in Medan bij de Handelsverenging Amsterdam. Bij terugkomst in 1936 werd hij de baas in de sigarenfabriek "Willem II". She studied the art of singing at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Her study was interrupted by her marriage. She married with a non-Jew, which made quite a lot af fuzz in the Jewish congregation of Eindhoven at the time. The new- married couple left for the Neth. East Indies on 25 feb 1920,where the husband was employed in Medan by Handelsvereniging, Amsterdam. On their return in 1936, Thuring became superior employee at the manufactury of cigars"Willem II" in Valkenswaard. In 1968 he retired from the position of general manager. |
