Married 8 Aug 1824 Leeuwarden, Marcus Levij Abraham Cohen, born on 25 Jul 1803, circumcised on 2 Aug 1803 in Leeuwarden, son of Abraham Marcus Levij Cohen & Jeltje Hartogs, and Sara Asser Salomons, born in 1797 in Amsterdam, daughter of Asser Salomons & Naatje Salomons, deceased in Amsterdam in 1811 [sort of]. The bride Sara introduces a homologised birth act, wherein is stated, that she was born in Amsterdam in 1797, that her mother Naatje Salomon died in Amsterdam in 1811 without documentation, and that her father Asser Salomons left his childre n 13 yrs.ago after his spouses death, and it is not known, where he resides, in spite of several attempts to locate him. The witnesses stating all this are: Benedecitus Abraham, tradesman, Amstelstr Lea Abraham, at same address Emanuel Welstand, vendor, Rapenb.str Mozes Welstand, vendor, same address Jacob Vorzanger, coral polisher, Stroomarkt Machiel Samuel Wolfenbuttel Johanes Lourens Silberling, bread baker [Evidently the 3rd & 4th witness are father & son, uncle & cousin of the bride. Their spouse/mother is a sister of the late bride's mother, who was actually buried at Zeeburg cemetery on 31 Aug 1810.
