At the time of their departure no living children existed. However, according to Bataviasche Courant d.d. 1 Mar 1823, nr. 9: 'mr.J. de Jongh and family' departed from Dutch East Indies on 24 Feb 1823 as passengers of the ship Delphina (captain: J.
