Event: event Feb 1782 Amsterdam On 24 Shevat 5542 appear before the trustees of the jewish comunity the couple Abraham ben Shlomo Levie & Gimme bat Juzpe z.l, who formerly had been married to the late Manes ben k"h Mordechai Kijser z.l, and was subsequently named guardian of hi s estate together with the other guardians named by the late Manes z.l, on behalf of his small children, as specified in his will, made up before notary Domenicus Geniets & witnesses on Sep 16th, 1769; and now they declare by their signing this document how they received fl. 70,- from aluf katsin mefursam pu k"h Maharam Maarsen m.h.l, who was also named guardian by the late Manes z.l, on behalf of my stepson/son Leib ben Manes Kijser z.l., whic h will be deducted from his part of the inheritance coming to him from his late father's estate and from his late sister Gitche's z.l; this meaning, that when Leib aforementioned matures and becomes 'mundig' according to the rules of this countr y and will demand his part, these fl. 70,- will be deducted thereof; and to make things sure we put an amount of fl. 800,- belonging to us the couple as collateral with the trustees of the community.
