2) Wolf Levie Waag, birth ONG 1756 Amsterdam Event: event 1784 Amsterdam In the course of the year 5544 an act is made up by the trustees ofthe jewish community in Amsterdam, stating that 1 seat in the men's department, which according to registration in the 'grondbrief' is registered on folio as in guardianship of th e guardians of the bachelor Wolf ben Leib Waag z.l, who was a son of the late Meyer Waag z.l; and now the last living guardian aluf katsin mefursam pu k"h David ben late k"h Leib Preger z.l. transferred full rights on this seat to the bachelor Wol f m.h.l. as part of all his inheritance from his grandfather Meyer z.l, as the bachelor Wolf became an autonomous personality at reaching the age of 25 yrs, when people become 'mundig' according to the customs of this country, and as ensuing fro m an act and a receipt made out here before notary Domenicus Geniets & witnesses on March 7th, 1781, and from now on this seat belongs fully to the bachelor Wolf m.h.l. In three similar acts, tree additional seats which belonged to Wolf'smaternal grandparents, the couple Jacob ben Eizik Engelsman z.l. &Rachel Santches z.l. are as well transferred to him by the sameguardian, because of his' reaching the ag e of 25 yrs. The remaining two seats are sold on that date to aluf naaleh Michel ben Peis Konigswinter z.l, each for the amount of fl. 475,- . |
