Married 1892 Amsterdam to: N.n. , birth 20 Aug 1867 Amsterdam, died 2 Mar 1950 Hollywood, California, son of Levie louis Aron Roeg and Esther Betje Izak Salomons Maurice, together with his wife - Minna - and their three young children born in Amsterdam, immigrated to the U.S. about 1901. They had settled i San Francisco and were there at the time of the Great Earthquake amd Fire, April 1906. While they lost almost all of their worldly possessions, they survived unharmed, and relocated to the greater Los Angeles area. ============================================================================================================== This photo was taken London, 1901, just before my Great-Grandparents and their three children departed for "America"...... My "Immigrant Ancestors".....My paternal Great-Grandfather, Moses/Maurits/Maurice Jacques Roeg Judels, b Amsterdam, 1867; and his wife, Minna Roeg-Adler, b Amsterdam, 1872; with their three children, Louis, b Amsterdam, 1893; Herman, b Amsterdam , 1894; and my Grandmother, Rosette, b Amsterdam, 1895, d San Bernardino, CA, 1971...... My Father, Amos Jack Carr, b Los Angeles, 1914, d San Bernardino, CA, 2001, was the only child of my Grandmother Rosette Roeg and her husband, Amos John Carr, b San Francisco,1892, d Guadalajara, Mexico, 1957......My Branch extinguishes in my gene ration, for lack of male issue |
