PREFACE
My mothers surname was Halberstadt, she was a descendant of an German-Lutherian family. During my search for her family I also looked for other people with the name Halberstadt (or derivatives), these were all Jewish. During my investigations I got information from many persons, particularly Mr. W.A. Halberstadt and Mrs. R. Joosten. You will find the results in the following database.

INLEIDING
Mijn moeder heette Halberstadt Van zichzelf, zij stamt af Van een Duits-Lutherse familie. Tijdens mijn onderzoek naar haar familie heb ik ook onderzoek gedaan naar anderen met de naam Halberstadt (of afgeleiden), deze bleken allen Van Joodse afkomst. Tijdens mijn onderzoek heb ik Van velen informatie gekregen, i.h.b. Van de heer W.A. Halberstadt en mevr. R. Joosten. Het resultaat vindt U in bijgaand bestand.
