Born in Laag-Keppel (Achterhoek) in 1935. During WWII she went into hiding for three years and thus survived. Arrived in Israel in 1954, served in the air force. Married Berrie Asscher in 1956. Lived in Beer-Sheba and for the last years in Ahuzath Poleg, near Southern Natanya. Graduated in English and education at the Ben-Gurion University in 1975, from then till early pension in 1990 English teacher and coordinator at high school. For many years now a volunteer for Akevoth, as translator and editor and heading the supervision of translation activities. |
