6 Aw 5522 - mhor"r Moshe ben mhor"r Simon F"F, 90 yrs.old. Mozes Frankforter (1672-1762) was de zoon van Simon Frankforter. Hij was een bekend auteur, hebreeuws drukker en uitgever bij de Hoogduitse gemeente in Amsterdam. In 1720 richtte hij in Am sterdam een drukkerij op, waar onder andere zijn eigen werken werden gedrukt.
In "The Lifht from the West" ( The story of the life and times of the Chassam Sofer ) schrijft Selig Schachnowitz dat Mozes Franfort een oom is van de Chassam Sofer. Dit is niet juist. Zijn echtgenote was een tante van de Chasam Sofer.
