Shamash & trustee of the jewish community of Amsterdam, as curator of the estate of the late Brendele bat k"h Jacob Chazzan-Segal z.l. sol d in a public auction in the great synagogue a seat in the women's department, empowered by an 'appointment' given to him and his partner the curator Antoine Simon Meynardse by the 'edele achtbare heeren schepenen' of this town in July 1794, as re gistered in the 'minuutregister' folio 174, and by power of the procuration, his partner Antoine Simon Meynardse gave him, as made up before the notary Engelbert Martinus Dorper & witnesses on Jul 14th, 1794; and this seat was acquisited by the br others Leib & Hirsch, sons of Jacob Koedam z.l. as highest bidders.
