Michiel Samuel Levie, birth 1724 Amsterdam, lives: , Although there exist some acts concerning his business in Amsterdam (d.d. 23 Dec 1751 & 17 Aug 1752 - G.A.A. Notarial Archives 10444/21674 and 10448/1127) in association with his brother Garcon/Garson, the couple moves subsequently to Emden, wher e Michiel seems to have died.
On the civil marriage act at 2nd marriage of Mietje Moses, his widow, to her uncle Isaac Daniels in 1758, it is stated, that she paid her dues to the Weeskamer in Emden. This implies, that the couple lived for an extended period in Emden; howeve r nothing could be found in the archives of Emden.
